CAC History: The Christ Apostolic Church is distinctly an indigenous African Church. By its structure, belief and practices, it is an independent Pentecostal Church. The history of the Church is traceable directly to our forefathers, namely Oba/Pastor Isaac Babalola Akinyele, Pastor David Ogunleye Odubanjo, Joseph Sadare, Miss Sophia Odunlami and Evangelist (late Apostle) Joseph Ayodele Babalola who was called to the ministry by the Lord on 11th, October 1928. A Statement of Introduction:  Pastor Timothy Akinlolu Omolayo Oluwashakin Agbeja (Affectionately known as "Baba Moroti") was born on March 27th 1954 in IIesha, Osun State Nigeria to the late Pastor Abraham Olayiwola Agbeja (a District Superintendent in the Christ Apostolic Church) and Madam Lydia Folorunsho Agbeja.

Pastor (Dr.) Timothy Akinlolu Omolayo Agbeja has been the beIoved pastor and teacher of the Christ Apostolic Church and mission for forty four consecutive years. His dedicated service has been through the ranks of the clergy and in a wide range of socio-economic milieu from a little village in Idanre, Ondo State Nigeria where he started as a Catechist, to the United Kingdom as an associate/freelance pastor and to his present much coveted status of the Co-ordinator of C.A.C. CHURCH ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDES:

Christ Apostolic Church North America has published some administrative publications that are the legal documents within the church as guidelines for this body of Christ. Every Church is to make use and follow these guidelines.

GOVERNING COUNCIL


  1. C.A.C. NORTH AMERICA NATIONAL COUNCIL, (NC): (General Council).
    This Council comprised of: All DCC/ZONAL Superintendents, District Superintendents and Representatives, (Elders, Deacons, Deaconesses and Laymen).
    With one representative from all Department. This Council shall be meeting twice in a year, for the progress of C.A.C. North America to coordinate the activities of all department.
    C.A.C. North America Coordinator is the Chairman.
  2. BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
    The Board of Directors are the custodians of all C.A.C. North America assets.
  3. SUPERINTENDENTS COUNCIL
    All Superintendents are member of this Council and they are responsible for the day to day running of the affair of C.A.C. North America, with the Coordinator as the Chairman.
  4. C.A.C. VILLAGE:
    • C.A.C. VILLAGE MANAGEMENT COUNCIL: (Also serve as Fund Raising Committee).
      This Management Council is comprised of: All DCC/ZONAL Superintendents, one Representative from each DCC./ZONE, CACMA, Leader, Good Women Leader, Business Group Leader and Youth Department Leader.
      Pastor John Oluwatimilehin, (Ph.D.) is the Chairman.
    • C.A.C. VILLAGE MANAGEMENT BOARD.
      This Management Board is comprised of the Coordinator, CACNA. Secretary, CACNA. Treasurer, CACNA. Property and Housing Chairman, CACNA. Financial Advisory, CAC. Village Treasurer and the CAC. Village Management Council Chairman.
      Pastor David O. Adenodi, Ph.D.  is the Chairman
    • PROPERTY/HOUSING DEPARTMENT:
      This Department is to take care of the C.A.C. Village and report from time to time to the C.A.C. Village Board.
      The Chairman for this Department is, Elder Rufus Fasakin.

OPERATION DEPARTMENTS:

  1. EMPOWERMENT DEPARTMENT: (EVANGELISM).
    This Department will be in charge of Evangelism wing and Soul Winning they will be going from church to churches for Revival and for the establishment of churches in North America. They will be in charge of the Ministers Prayer Programs.
    The Chairman for this Department is Pastor Zacchaeus Oloba.
  2. LEGAL DEPARTMENT:
    This Department is to guide the leadership of C.A.C. North America and advise them of what to do in order not to break the law of the land and to help us in any legal matters.
    The head of this Department is Lady Evang. Janet Fashakin, (Ph.D.) (Senior Advocate).
  3. MUSIC DEPARTMENT:
    This Department is to gather the Musician and Choir in our churches together and plan for all our National program, eg; Convention and Conferences.
    Pastor Rufus Sola Rotimi is the Chairman.
  4. C.A.C. NA. BIBLE INSTITUTE
    This Department is to organize training for the Workers, Ministers and all Department in our church.
    Members of the staff are: Pastor T. A. Omolayo Agbeja, Ph.D.  Chancellor, Pastor David O. Adenodi, Ph.D.  Provost, Pastor Amos Dada, Ph.D., Dean, and Pastor Joseph A. Olawale, Registrar.
  5. IT. (Information Technology) DEPARTMENT:
    This Department will work with all the IT departments in our churches in United States and Canada. Their assignment is to make sure our church is given wide publicity in North America and to have a good and functional Website for the Church. They are to work hand in hand with the Publicity Department.
    Mr. Oladipupo Ojo as the IT Director.
  6. MINISTERS’ WELFARE DEPARTMENT:
    This Department is to look for Life Insurance, Retirement Plan etc. for the ministers.
    Pastor Matthew O. Babalola is the Chairman, and Pastor Olumide Abikoye as the Secretary.
  7. PUBLICITY DEPARTMENT:
    This Department is to make sure our church is given wide publicity in North America and beyond.
    Pastor Amos Adetobi, is the Chairman and Pastor Isaac Abiara as the PRO and Secretary.
  8. CONVENTIONS/CONFERENCES DEPARTMENT:
    This Department is to prepare for our Conventions and Conferences and make sure that we have outstanding Convention and Conference every year.
    Pastor David O. Adenodi, Ph.D. is the Chairman and Pastor Oluwagbemiga T. Famojuro, D.Min. as the Secretary.
  9. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT:
    The Education Department will overseas the operation of Sunday School Liaison Office, organize Sunday School Conferences, Seminal, Preview of Sunday School presentation.
    Pastor Oluwagbemiga T. Famojuro, D.Min. Chairman.
  10. PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER: (PRO).
    This Department will work on the assignments given to any Department to make sure they carry them out.
    Pastor Ademola Oyeniyi is the Chairman.
  11. YOUTH/YOUNG ADULT DEPARTMENT:
    The main purpose of this Department is to put the Youth and Young Adult in all our DCC/ZONE together for proper Christian Education, C.A.C. Doctrine/Tenets, and spiritual up-liftment among our young people.
    The Director for this Department is Pastor Adekunmi Browne.
  12. CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH MEN ASSOCIATION. (CACMA):
    Their service is to build the men in C.A.C. North America to be strong in the Word of God, Prayer, Evangelism, Loving one another, Spiritual Growth, Unity among men, Family Spiritual growth, Support to the work of God and ministers in their churches and in C.A.C. in general.
    The Chairman for this Association is, Pastor Gabriel A. Aboderin.
  13. GOOD WOMEN ASSOCIATION: (CACNAGWA).
    Their service is to build the women in the C.A.C. North America to be strong in the Word of God, Prayer, Evangelism, Loving one another, Spiritual Growth, Unity among women, Family Spiritual growth, Support to the work of God and ministers in their churches and in C.A.C. in general.
    The Leader for this Association is, Lady Evang. Janet Fashakin, (Ph.D.) Pastor Hezekiah O. Ilufoye, Supervisor.
  14. PROFESSIONALS GROUP:
    Their service is to come together as a group and use their Career and Professions to move C.A.C. North America forward.
    The Leader for this Group is Pastor Kola Sonaike, Ph.D.
  15. MINISTERS WIVES FELLOWSHIP:
    Their service is to bring the ministers wives together for spiritual growth and for their general welfare.
    The Leader for this Fellowship is Lady Evangelist Agnes Agbeja.
  16. PILGRIMAGE DEPARTMENT.
    Their service is to arrange for C.A.C. North America yearly Pilgrim to Israel.
    The Leader for this Group is Pastor Richard Bolu Olowomeye, Ph.D.
  17. RECONCILIATION AND DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE:
    This Department will handle any dispute in any of our church and give advice of action to be taken to the Council of Superintendents.
    Pastor John Oluwatimilehin, (Ph.D.) is the Chairman.
  18. POWER HOUSE/PRAYER MOUNTAIN.
    This department will organize the ministers for C.A.C. Village Power House and supervise the use of the place as Prayer Mountain.
    Pastor Hezekiah O. Ilufoye is the Chairman.
  19. CACNA. BUSINESS GROUP.
    This department are Business men and women volunteer to raise fund in support of the C.A.C. Village.
    Deacon Dejo Ajibolade is the Chairman, and 
    Pastor Gabriel Idowu is the Supervisor.
  20. TECHNICAL GROUP.
    This department are the Technical Professions volunteer to help in advising, maintain and fix some things at the C.A.C. Village.
    Evangelist Moses Akanbi is the Chairman, and 
    Pastor Solomon Oyeleke is the Supervisor.
  21. TRANSPORTAION DEPARTMENT.
    This department will be in charge of the transporting people from the Airport to the Village.
    Mr. Bayo Olayokun is the Leader.

ASSOCIATIONS

Good Women Mission:

To support the men and women of God in our midst with prayer, giving them positive ideas and suggestions in carrying out their God given assignment for growth and edification of the Body of Christ; To teach our children to be discreet, chaste, keepers of homes and obedient in their duties towards their homes, communities, and Body of Christ; To live a life worthy

CACMA Men

To ensure the improvement of Theological Education for workers of CAC and other Pentecostal Missions; To propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ , so as to win souls for Christ and increase Church Membership; To establish Business Ventures to aid the development of the Church; To foster Unity among all Men of CAC; To project to the general public a good image of CAC.

CACNA Youth

To introduce Youth of all Nations to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and to help them grow to be more like Him. To implement the tasks of counseling, praying, mentoring, teaching and training Youth and Young Adults to be responsible and relevant Christians today.

To lead our children into a growing relationship with Christ by creating an environment in which biblical teaching and activities are pursued to develop a godly spiritual and moral lifestyle that reflects Jesus Christ to everyone.
